“A Dangerous Assignment” Screening + Discussion at the Silverspot Cinema in Downtown Miami
Join FRONTLINE and Armando.Info for a screening and discussion featuring “A Dangerous Assignment: Uncovering Corruption in Maduro’s Venezuela.” The screenings, happening on July 20th and 21st, will be followed by discussions with the filmmakers, and the exiled Venezuelan journalists whose investigation exposed problems with a government food program.
The film also tells the inside story of Alex Saab – the shadowy figure at the heart of the scandal, his capture and then release by the U.S. in a controversial prisoner swap, and what has happened to the journalists who uncovered corruption in Maduro’s Venezuela.

The July 20th program will feature a pre-screening reception beginning at 6:00pm on the 5th floor lounge at the cinema. The film begins at 7:30pm followed by a post-screening panel discussion.
